MEET OUR PEOPLE:
Erica Wood is our other Co-Founder & Artistic Director. She began working professionally in acting when she was a teenager and subsequently trained at LAMDA in the U.K. She has appeared on stages across Ontario in classical pieces, comedies, dramas and musicals. She has appeared on radio, television and in independent films. She also writes and produces for the theatre and has worked as a Script Supervisor for film and TV. As an RCM-Certified Artist Educator, she is on the faculty at Young People’s Theatre as a teacher, and can be found leading workshops with Crow’s Theatre, Mirvish Theatre and in schools across the GTA. Erica’s resume is evidently impressive on it’s own, and is only complimented by her charming, friendly, and welcoming personality. Erica has the skills to make you feel completely at home while you’re clucking like a chicken or walking in slow motion. MEET OUR PEOPLE:
Bruce Hunter is one of our Co-Founders & Artistic Directors. He has racked up an impressive 30 years experience teaching improvisation at Second City, Humber College, Bad Dog Theatre, Armstrong Academy and at U of T. Bruce is well known for his use of improvisation in his own commercial, theatre and film work. He has performed in dozens of theatre, television, and film projects, including but not limited to: “Hannson”, “The Red Green Show”, “Good Will Hunting”, “Schitt’s Creek,” “Puppets Who Kill”, “Degrassi,” “Waiting for Godot,” “Mean Girls” and “Rookie Blue” to name a few. His spectrum of work – as a performer and a director – has won numerous awards, including Best of the Fringe in 2010, two Canadian Comedy Awards for improvisation, a Gemini for his voice work on Atomic Betty and awards for his commercial work in Canada and the U.S.
Needless to say, Bruce has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the entertainment industry. Additionally, he’s a passionate teacher looking to share his love of the arts with anyone eager to learn.
